Updated(5-25-03) This is meant to be a guide.  Every squirrel baby is different. Be careful on how much you feed per feeding. You do not want the stomach overfull to the point of bloating. The stool helps to tell you if you are overfeeding. You want a formed stool, not runny. When you increase the amount per feeding , it takes 24 hours to see the effect of the new amount on the stool. Just like people, the stomach size is different from individual to individual.  How often to feed should be followed as closely as you can.   After 18 weeks, you can keep giving formula as long as they will take it.  In the wild squirrels nurse on the mother until they are 4 months old.  If you encounter diarrhea, you are probably over-feeding.
